Great Fire of Bransgore
Posted: Nov 19, 2018 by: Sarah Cobb (scobb) on: Giraffes, Panthers & Zebras
Today, the children gathered on the front playground to recreate the 'Great Fire of London' using some Tudor houses we made in our topic learning. We retold the story, particularly discussing why the fire spread so quickly. As it was a windy day we explained we couldn't let the fire just burn out like it did in 1666 after they pulled the houses down.
The children were very sensible and enjoyed writing about their senses from their 'fire experience'.
