About the Role:

As Headteacher, you will be responsible for providing professional and effective leadership to ensure every child reaches their full potential.  You will uphold the Christian vision and values of the school while promoting a safe and secure environment for all pupils and staff.  You will be a strategic leader, setting the direction for the school's development and ensuring high standards are maintained across all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and articulate the Christian vision, values, and ethos of the school while fostering inclusivity.
  • Ensure strong academic performance with a focus on effective teaching, assessment, and raising standards, particularly in writing and for vulnerable groups.
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration among staff.
  • Provide effective leadership for all staff, fostering professional development and career progression.
  • Strengthen partnerships with parents, governors, and the wider community.

You are the ideal candidate if you:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with significant senior leadership experience in a primary school setting.
  • Possess a strong commitment to Christian values and the ethos of a Church of England school.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of raising standards and leading successful school improvement initiatives.
  • Have experience in developing a strong SEND provision and ensuring inclusive learning for all.
  • Are an excellent communicator with a collaborative leadership style.

Teaching Assistant

Job start: September 2024

Salary: Grade B - FTE £22737  (pay award pending)

Contract term: 1 Year Fixed Term

We are looking for 1 full time TA and a part time TA, we would be willing to split the full time TA role if part time is more suitable. Full time hours are 08:30 - 15:30 (35 hours per week). Part time hours for the morning are 08:30 - 13:15 (23 hours and 45 minutes per week), afternoon hours are 12:00 - 15:30 (17 hours and 30 minutes per week). 

The part time TA role will be for the afternoon 12:00 - 15:30.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic teaching assistant to offer 1-1 support to some of our most vulnerable pupils. This is a challenging but very rewarding role and you will receive the full support of a highly trained and friendly team. The post involves working 1:1 in all aspects of a pupil’s day (learning, playtimes, lunchtime and emotional support/nurture.)

Full support, coaching, training and breaks will be a priority. You will be joining a very dedicated and friendly team who are both hard working and supportive of one another. The teaching and support staff work closely to bring about the best possible outcomes for the children in their care.

We offer a full week of new staff induction to help you find your feet. We provide staff with a basic level of private health insurance through Medicash, which offers money back on treatments such as dental and opticians. All staff benefit from a valuable pension scheme that school contribute to, if you sign up.

We enjoy lots of social activities to build teamwork. We will also provide you with bespoke training to ensure that you feel well supported and confident to carry out your role.
