We’re delighted to share that, from September 2025, our school meals will be provided by Educatering.

Educatering are a well-respected provider known for its fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced meals designed specifically for children.

You can find out more information by visiting their website https://www.educatering.uk/

Why we chose Educatering:

We believe that the food children eat plays a vital role in their ability to learn, thrive, and feel well at school. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Educatering, whose approach to school meals closely aligns with our school vision: “From loving roots, we are growing in the forest.”

Educatering’s commitment to high-quality, locally sourced meals supports our drive to nurture hope for a sustainable future and show compassion for our environment and communities. Their diverse, engaging menus encourage children to be creative and curious about food, trying new flavours and culinary experiences.

This change reflects our courage in seeking better experiences for our pupils and our determination to provide meals that promote wellbeing, resilience, and belonging, thus fostering a school day rooted in joy and connection.

School Lunches:-

Children can choose whether to have a home packed lunch or a school cooked lunch.

Although we do not police packed lunches we do, as part of our 'Healthy Schools' Policy, promote healthy eating. For more information visit our Food Policy.

All Pupils in Foundation / Key Stage 1 are entitled to a free hot school meal.

The price of a school meal is now £3.00.  Payment for school meals must be made in advance and online via ScoPay. This can be weekly (£15.00 per week) or half termly in the first two weeks back to school.

Does your child need a medical special diet to eat lunch at school?

Please complete the form that can be found here, please complete and email to the school office. Once the kitchen has confirmed the special diet, we will then be able to provide school lunches.

Living with allergies comes with its own set of rules so when it comes to food, as education caterers, we want to make this as easy as possible for you as a family. Our staff are trained in food safety and regularly update their skills on allergens. We never underestimate the dangers of food allergies and intolerances and that's why we work hard to get it right.

Your child may be able to get free school meals:-  Registering is really quick and easy – if you think you qualify go online for an immediate decision by using the online Free School Meal Eligibility Checking Service provided by Hampshire County Council Education Catering Services.
