Our Vision
At Bransgore, our vision is deeply rooted in John 13:34–35:
“Love one another as I have loved you.”
This call to love is active. It is an invitation to challenge, support, and raise one another up and recognising that each child and adult is a unique creation of God, deserving of dignity, care and opportunity.
Like a forest, our community grows stronger through connection, diversity, and nurture.
And inspired by Psalm 1:3:
“They are like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither, whatever they do prospers.”
Our vision is that every member of our community flourishes like the tree in Psalm 1, deeply rooted, nurtured by God’s Word, and resilient in faith. We believe that flourishing means more than achievement;
it means living a full, hopeful, and purposeful life, growing in wisdom, strength, and love.
Our school exists to move each person from simply existing to actively flourishing spiritually, academically, emotionally, and socially.
Our Christian Values
Adopted in Spring 2025 and then updated in January 2026, our six values guide how we live, learn, and grow together:
· Hope – Holding onto promise even in challenge
· Courage – Facing difficulty with faith and resilience
· Compassion – Acting in kindness and understanding towards ourselves and others
· Respect – Valuing others, their ideas, and the world around us
· Perseverance – Striving to overcome challenges and achieve goals
· Joy – Finding delight in learning, relationships, and daily life
These values build upon our long-standing identity as a “Loving School” and shine through our curriculum choices, collective worship, relationships, and leadership. Together, our vision and values guide us to become a flourishing, faithful, and outward-looking school community - growing strong from loving roots.
