Neptune Class

As part of our RE unit this half term, we blindfolded and led each other to trees in the school. We felt the leaves, branches and bark and then tried to find these trees again without the blindfold. This turned out to be a very enjoyable and amusing lesson (as these photographs show).

We then had a thought shower of all the words that we would associate with a tree:

Sturdy, tranquil, safe, majestic, gigantic, serene….

Neptune class have been busy creating feelings word clouds as part of their entry point for our new IPC topic ‘Feelings’. A boy called Alex receives a strange gift from his Godfather John Presley. Amazingly, this gift can take him back in time. Alex and his friend Callum find that they can use the gift for having fun and making lots of mistakes.
